A year back, the dreadful pandemic had stopped the world from all things that were considered regular. Now, after the COVID-19 vaccines are out and rolling, the city has announced that they have started the operations of its casinos and resorts for the entire day as they did before.
The famous MGM Resorts, on the Mandalay Bay, Park MGM as well as The Mirage had initially started 24/7 hotel operations. However some of them were shut down for a small time of a week because of low footfall. Las Vegas casinos now have been operating at a limited capacity.
Bill Hornbuckle, CEO & President of the MGM Resorts in a statement said that as they begin to witness positive signs around the sentiment of the public about traveling, with significant progress on the vaccination front and almost no COVID-19 case numbers, bringing Park MGM, Mandalay Bay and The Mirage back to its week long operations which is an important step for them.
He added again that they remain optimistic further about Las Vegas’ overall recovery and their ability to bring all the employees back to work. All the premium Vegas resorts are intending to bring life back to normal with many live entertainment as well as added precautions. Gradually all the important tourist attractions in Las Vegas have also opened their doors.
